Psychotherapy

I offer an impartial, safe, and non-judgemental space for you to explore your emotions, feelings and thoughts. I will support you in a holistic way - by working with you, to better understand your frustrations and difficulties as well as your strengths and abilities. I aim to empower my clients during therapy to challenge unwanted behavioural patterns, thoughts or emotions and explore new possibilities and new ways of being.

Psychotherapy Supervision

I am a Gestalt Psychotherapy Supervisor and able to work with trainees and experienced psychotherapist and counsellors from different approaches. 

I always aim to create a safe and collaborative space in which we can work together for the benefit of the client alongside ensuring the wellbeing and development of the therapist.

Professional Supervision and Reflective Practice

Having work alongside other professionals (caseworkers, social workers, housing offices, solicitors, doctors) in the field of Refugees and Asylum Seekers I have become astutely aware of the impact of the work with traumatised clients on professionals who are not mental health trained or clinical staff and the lack of support these individuals received.

As a response I trained myself and did extensive research to develop an integrated approach which provides mental health psycho-education alongside a space to process the work and the professionals own well-being. The sessions always provide a practical support to staff dealing with clients who experience mental health difficulties.

My intention is to support individuals to be the best professional they can be for their clients in a sustainable and meaningful way.

Training

I provide specialised and tailor made training to psychotherapist, professionals working with traumatised clients and members of the community interested in learning about mental health.
